Graphic 45 Christmas Box and mini-book Class offered in December

Taught this as a class in December, 2011.  This box, mini album, and paper line is by Graphic 45--one of my favorite paper companies!  The front of the box has a mini-light in it, and it looked really pretty sitting on the mantle.  I used a Tim Holtz die cut and grungeboard in the corner under the bow.   The metal corner is also by Tim.  The big metal knob is by Graphic 45.

Here is the little mini-book that was housed in the box.  It has Old Saint Nick on the front...no doubt going over the naughty/nice list!  I know which one I'm on...  :)

The back page has a pocket to hold the vintage-looking postcards.  I simply stapled tiny pieces of seam binding for a splash of color.

Paisley Valentine's Album Class

This paisley Valentine album was a hit! The Tim Holtz "Moments"die went through the front of the album, and really made a visual impact!

The heart and wings die cut was also By Tim Holtz.

Cute Paisley Chipboard Album was by Heart of Texas Studio!

The paper was by Basic Gray and the trim by Maya Road.

Funky bird stamps by Dyan Reavley.

It was a fairly simple little album with a super-cute front!

Class was Feb. 11th at The Crafty Scrapper!

Ragamuffin Daughter Poem Album Class

This little book was one that I made for my daughter, Macy, for Christmas, and that I ended up offering as a class in January at The Crafty Scrapper!
It had a journal-book feel to it.  It was a bit tattered-looking.  The red yard was indicative of Raggedy Ann and Andy's from my childhood years.  The beautiful paper is by Creative Imaginations..."Ragamuffin".
It housed daughter poems, as it was a gift for our daughter, but the ladies that took the class had various uses in mind...baby book, etc.

I used several die cuts to embellish the already beautiful papers.  The "Love" die is a mover and shaker by Tim Holtz.  This was a very popular page!
I used a grungeboard flower and a glittered word in the middle for this page...

The page on the left has a little awning at the top--I used pop dots on a portion of a die cut frame to achieve this.  I stamped in this book a fair amount, and used copic markers to color in, then put Glossy Accents on top to achieve the glossy look!

She opened this present, and was so happy to get it.
She sat down right then and read the whole thing...it was pretty touching!

Boy easel Mini Album Class--Jan. 21st @ The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, Texas

This little album was on an acrylic easel by Maya Road.  I covered the pages with paper heavily coated in Claudine Hellmuth's multi-medium(gloss).  It gave an interesting feel to the pages. I used aTim Holtz die and some grungeboard letters to embellish the front of the album.

Tim Holtz gears die and pin.

I used black chalkboard paper to produce pages that really popped!

This simple little easel album was fun and easy. It was a class offered during January at The Crafty Scrapper!

Canvas Sports Album Class: Teaching this class tomorrow! Saturday, Dec. 10th

In this class, we produce a very attractive red, white, and blue sports album.  The album is made out of canvas, and so we do some masking and spraying to achieve a cool look!  The pocket of the album is done in metal and zipper trim.

We use some cool dies and some Glossy Accents over them!  We also use seam binding, extra embossed metal pieces, and lot of other fun stuff to embellish this fun album.
This album would be perfect for a Texas Ranger fan, or for a book to house your child's sports photos!

Teaching this Sport Album class tomorrow at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, Texas at 1:00 pm. In this class, we'll be making this canvas sports album with a metal-embossed front pocket to house any sports photos, whether it's for your child's sport or photos from a Texas Ranger game, you'll be proud to display them in this album! The paper line we use isn't sport-specific, so its a really versatile album. We're going to stamping, misting, and metal embossing. There are still a couple of spaces left, so call 972-923-3151 to sign up.  Cost is $35.  It'll be a good time, guaranteed!
