Canvas Sports Album Class: Teaching this class tomorrow! Saturday, Dec. 10th

In this class, we produce a very attractive red, white, and blue sports album.  The album is made out of canvas, and so we do some masking and spraying to achieve a cool look!  The pocket of the album is done in metal and zipper trim.

We use some cool dies and some Glossy Accents over them!  We also use seam binding, extra embossed metal pieces, and lot of other fun stuff to embellish this fun album.
This album would be perfect for a Texas Ranger fan, or for a book to house your child's sports photos!

Teaching this Sport Album class tomorrow at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, Texas at 1:00 pm. In this class, we'll be making this canvas sports album with a metal-embossed front pocket to house any sports photos, whether it's for your child's sport or photos from a Texas Ranger game, you'll be proud to display them in this album! The paper line we use isn't sport-specific, so its a really versatile album. We're going to stamping, misting, and metal embossing. There are still a couple of spaces left, so call 972-923-3151 to sign up.  Cost is $35.  It'll be a good time, guaranteed!

Lighted Christmas Cupcake Album

I made this cupcake album for Creative Imaginations.   The paper line is "Sweets for Santa" by CI.   I was a guest designer, and was on their website for 3 of their "12 Days of Christmas" countdown.  This cupcake is a chipboard album by Heart of Texas Studio.  This baby lights up!  It has an on/off button that is almost hidden on the front of the album.  It lights up in 3 different modes!

This beautiful trim at the top of this page is by Maya Road.  Isn't it swell?

I used CI's Twinkling H2Os for the color on the envelope.

Below you will see the cupcake lights in action...in the three available modes!

Santa Stocking Album and Santa Christmas ornament

I made this Stocking Album with Old St. Nick on the front.  I used a Heart of Texas Album, and I painted several of the pages with Creative Imaginations' Twinkling H2Os, and they really shined!
The paper line is by CI, also..."Dear Santa"
This was featured on Creative Imagination's Blog when I was a guest designer in December.  This was Day 4 of the Twelve Days of Christmas feature.  Check it out at www.creativeimaginations.typepad.com.  There is a more thorough description of the products used there.

Stencil by CI.

I made this ornament with paintable flowers, patterned paper and Heart of Texas Studio's chipboard ornament.  Each of the members on Design Team for The Crafty Scrapper made one to decorate the Christmas tree there!

Lighted house in a set

This is the house I made for the Crafty Scrapper. Several of the design team members got one to decorate. When we combine them, there will be a small village.

My house has blinking snowflakes!

Houses can be purchased at The Crafty Scrapper in a set of 5 by Heart of Texas Studio.

Cheryl Mezzetti inspired album

The cover of the book has these beautiful birds under hanging stars. Book by Heart of Texas Studio. Paper is by Creative Imaginations. I took a class with Cheryl Mezzetti in Houston last month, and she taught us how to use the Twinkling H2Os to paint paper and die cuts...so pretty!

These hanging stars are made with Epiphany Crafts star button maker. Love those!

Here is the painted paper and flower we did in Cheryl's class! The colors are fabulous!

This Swiss dotted overlay idea was also Cheryl's! Reminds us of snow!

Used Viva pearl pens in gold and silver to achieve this look! Pop dotted the die cut bird.

CI's paintable frame, Maya Road's felt flower...Yummy!

Inked the words by Maya Road, then used silver Flower-Soft to accent.

Maya road trim, CI die cut and pearls.

Small Maya Road canvas tag, CI bird die cut and pearls, Epiphany Crafts star button maker...

Back cover--accented with Glossy Accents!

Macy's Basketball Album

My daughter, Macy, played summer basketball, and so I made this red, white, and blue basketball album with her very first photos playing basketball!

Wooden button by Maya Road that I pained to look like a basketball.  I also used a Tim Holtz acrylic piece on this page.
