Summer License Plate Album Class from June 2011

This summer album has a unique front.  The Crafty Scrapper sits next to a large antique mall that I like to frequent.   I found these metal numbers there.  They were for old score-keeping signs.  I had originally bought them for our baseball team...I thought I would use each boy's number for the front of their album, but couldn't find all the numbers that I needed.  I used them for this summer class instead.  The class went over big, as the people loved these vintage pieces!

Macy's softball album

Macy played softball for the first time in summer 2011.  I made this album for her.  I didn't have time to make them for the whole team this time---maybe next year!
The album is by Maya Road.  I thought it really fit the softball theme well!

Mickey Mouse Album

I made this album for the trip we took to Disneyworld in Summer 2009.   Isn't Mickey the best?

I made the kids little scrapbooks that they used for signatures!  They loved them, and the Disney characters made such a big deal over them!  The kids were thrilled!

I am working on four 12x12 albums from this summer trip...one from each park!  I LOVED Disneyworld.  I had never been.  I had my picture made with every character...I didn't push the kids out of the way, though...lol

Macy's Soccer book

I made this soccer book for Macy.  The stamp on the front was perfect, as the name of Macy's soccer team was "Glitter".  I painted the girl to match our girls' outfits, and I fashioned the girl's skirt from a soccer ball.  The #1 on the front was Macy's number!
It was so fun to make this album!  I had made few sports albums for my sons, but let's face it, being able to use pink and glitter is fun!!!
Funky?  Yes!!
This little bird was a cutie!  The bird was by Maya Road.  I painted him with yellow crackle paint.  Surprising, I know!
Maya Road kraft doily made to look like a soccer ball!  Little ticket stamp was by Tim Holtz.

Tim Holtz' wings on that soccer ball with glitter!  Oh, yeah!

Some metal boxes I altered...

I embellished this metal box(and two more just like it) for the coaches of my son's baseball team(one coach is my husband!).

On the inside of it, I placed 5x7 photos very simply placed together with a ring.  I stapled the photos to the cardstock.  The coaches liked them!
I cut this pinwheel out of a Coca-Cola can with a die cut, then used Maya Road zipper trip to fashion this pinwheel flower.
I placed the pinwheel on the small metal box.
I stamped on this metal box, embellished it with a bit of purple, then placed a book on the inside, and gave it as a gift.

Summer Freedom Mini Album Class July 2011

I made this fun little album in July 2011, and it was a class....so fun to use the sand and shells!
