Macy's Basketball Album

My daughter, Macy, played summer basketball, and so I made this red, white, and blue basketball album with her very first photos playing basketball!

Wooden button by Maya Road that I pained to look like a basketball.  I also used a Tim Holtz acrylic piece on this page.

World Series Album I made for us...

I made this World Series book to house our Texas Rangers photos from last year.  I used a napkin to cover the Texas on this Heart of Texas album.  I came back from the some Collins Group classes in Houston in October, and Tim Holtz inspired me to make this album. , using some techniques I learned that weekend.

This spur page is super-cool, and I covered it with Ten Seconds metal...Love!

I stamped around this canvas star, stamped it, colored the stamps with copic markers, then put Glossy Accents on it.

I used Distress Stain on the pages, and they turned out awesome!

These pictures are of the jumbotron...the kids are dancing!!!

Isn't he cute?  He went to this game in full-Josh Hamilton garb...tattoos and all!  People were asking to have their pictures taken with him!  He obliged!  lol

Ghoul Bus Album Class offered @ The Crafty Scrapper, Waxahachie, TX

This "Ghoul Bus" is more delightful than frightful, and it was a lot of fun to make.

The chipboard bus is by Maya Road.  It has these peek-a-boo windows that were oh-so-fun to embellish!  I chose a few of Tim Holtz embellishments to adorn the front of the album.

Fanciful stars and a little bit of Glossy Accents is about all we needed on these pages!

The scary crow was a die by Tim Holtz.

MACY'S CHEER ALBUM. Macy cheers for Upward--an organization sponsored by one of the churches in Mansfield. They have Dallas Cowboy colors! Woo hoo! So, anyway, I indulged myself a bit by decorating to my heart's desire!

"Boom, boom, dynamite!"  She's a firecracker, alright!  lol

To achieve the distressed look on the canvas star, I first stamped the clean star, then I colored the pink and navy areas with copic markers, then I used Glossy Accents on the top.   I then placed a couple of chipboard stars on canvas and sprayed it lightly with Maya Mist.

I used quite few pieces of embellishments meant for homecoming mums...of course, I had to add a bit of Glossy Accents just to get my fix!  I love Glossy Accents like Lisa Pace loves glitter!  lol

Magic of OZ Album Class

Teaching this Magic of OZ Album class on Saturday at 10 am at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie.

This album is by Heart of Texas Studio.  It has an acrylic front.  The purple paper you see is showing through from the next page.  These red poppys are from Tim Holtz's die.  I inked them red, then stamped them with a spider web stamp, then used 7-Gypsies metal dome brad for the centers.

This frame is just inked, then coated heavily with Glossy Accents.  Zipper Trim by Maya Road.

I cut out the poppies from the paper, pop-dotted them onto the page, and put a few pieces of tiny glass beads to adorn.

The fence is Tim Holtz.  First I cut them(grunge board), then make them white with Distress stain(picket fence-white), then put a light coating of Rock-candy crackle paint.  Finally, I just rubbed a bit of light grey ink on them.

The back of the album is mainly paper, but does have a couple of Tim Holtz dies inked black and glittered in the same.  I also stickled in a few key places...mostly on Dorothy!
