Me at TCS Make-N-Take Madness on Saturday, March 31st

Here was my project that students made when they came to my table!  We started with a piece of stamping-quality paper(white).  We then used LaBlanche stamps and permanent ink on our paper.  The students then edged their image with Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the outside of whatever they had decided to make colorful(mine was the clock and the owl).  They then used water paintbrushes and Tim Holtz Distress Inks in all colors to paint as desired.  That was super-fun!  Then, I had them paint Versa Mark on the part of the image that they wanted to me glossy.  Then, we used Ranger Fine Embossing Ink on that part of our tag.  We didn't shake off the excess.  We then heated from the bottom of the tag with an embossing gun.  The embossing powder melted into a nice shiny pool of wonderfulness!  I then had them sprinkle the tiniest bit of glitter over the still-wet powder to give it a little sparkle.  We then put Maya Road metal corners on the tag, and stapled it to a piece of burlap that we had edged with Vintage Photo distress ink and a blending tool.  We punched holes in the top and put metal eyelets in the holes.  A piece of seam binding finished the project.  After the embossing powser had completely dried, we bent it for a nice crackled image!
Everybody was great, and we all had a fun time!!!
