Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Album Class Dec. 2012

This is the Graphic 45 Nutcracker Sweet Album Class I taught at The Crafty Scrapper in Waxahachie, Texas in December 2013!  It was sold out!!  I began with an album that had both acrylic and chipboard parts.

On the left side, this page has a few tags in a kraft envelope, and a little storybook that opens up(see two pictures below).  On the right-hand side, the chipboard page is in the shape of a Christmas tree, so I embellished as such!

On the right hand side, the acrylic page had cut outs shaped like ornaments.  I placed fabric paper under them and striped paper under that.  It turned out quite pretty!

Here is the little pull out story from above.  You could put pictures on each of these two pages, and there are places for more on the other side...see below!

This two-page layout has the back of the Christmas tree, and another fun cut-out chipboard page on the right side.

Here, I just made card-like embellishments that opened to show the pictures! On the right-hand side, if you pull gently on the green-gum drop looking piece, there is the hidden page shown below!

This page was embedded, or hidden, as I mentioned above, and on the back side of this, you would see the back of the album!

Christmas Tree Box with Coaster Album Class Dec. 2012

BirdSong Box Class Nov. 2012

 

In this class, we made a wooden keepsake box.  We decorated it with Graphic 45's Bird Song Collection.  I used a Tim Holtz lantern to adorn the outside of the box, so it would actually light up, and I hid the wires with Maya Road trim. 

 

 

We then used the shown papers to decorate the front and back of the box.

For the inside of the box, we covered it with felt and with paper. Here you can see the battery pack, which we covered with paper, and glued to the bottom so that it would be secure.

Cat in Hat Album Class Feb 2013!!

Don't waste time, make haste to join this CAT IN THE HAT album class!! In this class, we are having a great deal of fun with Cat in the Hat papers and an interactive pull-tab album. This can be used for a Valentine's book or just a colorful children's album. In the class, we'll be doing something different and new, so please bring along with you...some kids valentines cards(the inexpensive kind in a set from practically any store, they do not have to be Cat in the Hat) and a CAT IN THE HAT book if you have one(this will not be destroyed, we will just be looking at it). Also, bring your basic class kit, tiny stapler, paintbrush, non-stick craft mat, Zip Dry, and tape runner. See you soon!!!

Beach ATC

Shelley, here, with a beach-inspired ATC.  For the background, I used a card from Life's Journey ATC pack and covered it with Stargazer Luminarte.  The beautiful frame is from Life's Journey Die Cut Shapes, and I painted it with Mediterranean Blue Luminarte, then used cut pieces of pop dots to make it look like a shadow box.  The pink shell is from the 5"x12" Chipboard shapes sheet, and I painted it with apple blossom luminarte.  The large butterfuly in the middle is from the Oceanside Die Cut shapes set, and I painted it with Mystique Luminarte and Meredian Luminarte.  I put black glass beads in the middle.  The tiny butterfly is a resin shape painted with Stargazer Luminarte.  The bottom shell is also from the 5"x12" Chipboard shapes set, adored with eye candy.  The little plaque at the bottom is from the Oceanside Die Cut Shapes set.  I painted this with a mix of the above mentioned Luminartes, except the pink.  I adored it with eye candy and some Maya Road trim painted with the above mentioned Luminarte, then cut with Martha Stewart's fringe scissors.  After finishing, I sprayed the whole project with Pearl Lilac Radiant Rain Mist, which just adds a bit more sparkle.
This ATC just makes me want to go to the beach...how about you?

7 Gypsies-Triptych House with Disney

Shelley, here, with a fun little piece of Disney magic via 7 Gypsies and Creative imaginations!

This base is the Triptych House from 7 Gypsies.  It's three separate pieces that I have decorated with some paper from the Magic 6"x6" pad.  I also used the Magic Die Cut set.  To make the piece stand up, I punched 2 holes in each of the three pieces, then I tied them together with some ribbon.


For some fun on this piece, I used some Maya Road trim, along with some jet black eye candy and the Oceanside words sticker sheet.

ATC Monthly Feature by Shelley Hamilton

Shelley here, with a delightful little fire-hydrant book, just right for some puppies!

I used several frames and die cuts from the ATC packages that we have.  Don't they look great with Twinkling H20 on them?




I put Sea Spray Luminarte on Maya Road trim.  Isn't it pretty?

I used our new paintable resins on a couple of different of pages, and really loved them!
