Album for Senior Pictures

I made this album for my friend's daughter to house her senior pictures, which my husband took!
I used a Heart of Texas Studio book and Creative Imaginations paper.
I embellished simply, as I felt the pictures were the main attraction and the paper was almost enough!
Here, I used a bit of metal embellishments by Tim Holtz.

At the bottom of this page, I used gold alcohol ink on Maya Road Vintage Trinket paintable roses.
These metal flowers are by Maya Road.
The metal corner and arrow are from Hobby Lobby.
Metal word embellishment new by Tim Holtz.
A metal key and a bit of lace was enough for this page.
Maya Road's new trim along with a Tim Holtz embellishment.

Maya Road measurement trim with a metal buckle.
 Pretty trinket by Petaloo.
Isn't this wood-look paper pretty?

Thanks for looking!

On the front of this Maya Road acrylic album, I used transparent shapes and chipboard shapes to embellish.  I used May Arts ribbons also.

Nautical Clown book ~ Why yes!

Hey, guys!  Shelley here, with something fun and fresh!

I made this altered album with the Nautical line by Samantha Walker!  It just seemed so perfect for this fun little clown book!  The book itself is by Heart of Texas Studio.  On the front, I used Dyan Reaveley's stamps to make the colorful clown, the border, and the heart flowers.  My daughter, Macy, had her 2nd grade musical in May, and I had these great photos of her in her clown outfit!

On this page, I used the Nautical paper called "At the Beach" ~ but I used the multi-dot side and the Sea Stripe paper to accent.  I used Maya Road aqua ruffle trim and zipper trim.

DSC_0039On this page, I used the "By the Sea" ~ red dotted side for the background.  To embellish, I used a few of the 12x12 Nautical stickers along with some eye candy, and pretty crochet brads!

Here, I used "Ocean Wave" paper ~ Red stripe side, for the background, along with a die cut umbrella from Nostalgia die cut cardstock shape painted in Silks Acrylic Glaze in Sky Blue, eye candy, and twine.  It's raining bling!

Evan's baseball album

To make the front of this album, I cut some old baseballs up.  Basically, I just tore the covers off.  I then cut them up in to small pieces, and glued them down with ZipDry on the front of the chipboard album.  The metal letter ,we got at Michael's in the $1 bin, then painted it red with spray paint.  The same is true for the metal Tim Holtz corners and the rings of the album.
Myself and my best friend made every player on our team one of these albums.  It was a lot of work, but totally worth it, as we love the boys!
I took pictures of all the boys all season so that we had ample photos, and then I edited them, and printed them.  We decided to go simple on the inside of the album this year.  In years past, we have gone crazy with the embellishments!  We pop-dotted about half of the photos...the rest we left alone.
We matted every photo.  The paper was baseball paper by Moxxie.  It matched our team, the Bombers, perfectly!
For the scalloped page in the book(we prefer the rectangular ones for obvious reasons), we painted the bottom and used a little baseball stamp for embellishment.
Isn't he cute?

I think he got those pants that dirty just to see if I could get them clean!!

Low five!!
We usually resist the temptation to put a sticker or other embellishment on the photos, but we made an exception for our Bombers logo on this page!

Our team won 1st place at this tournament!  Look how proud they are!

Hope you enjoyed looking!!
