Baseball Book for Evan: Sepia

I made this album for Evan and his teammates for their Fall 2010 baseball team.  I took the pictures and had them printed in Sepia.  They looked really vintage, especially with the old-timey uniforms that the boys had.  I used 7 Gypsies book covers and kraft paper that  heavily inked with distress ink.  I used Tim Holtz metal corners also.
I barely used embellishments, as the goal was to keep the vintage feel.  I wrote in the margins with black ink, sometimes using tickets for journaling, as well.
It was hard not to embellish, but really, the pictures made this album.  I wanted to keep it boyish!
I used Maya Road's small metal corners that you crimp on the edges of the pages throughout the album.
Tim Holtz metal embellishments were sprinkled throughout.

Soccer book I made for Macy's team

Each little girl got one of these with their number on the front.  Macy is #1!

They were done pretty simply, but the girls loved them.

Duct(Or Duck, as they say it now!) tape!
"Glitter" is the team name!

Graphic 45--Halloween in Wonderland- Halloween Book

I started off with paper in the shape of this hat.  I used the cricut(I think it was a 4th of July cartridge) to cut out a paper pattern, then cut out the front and back of the album in heavy black chipboard.
The pages were just black cardstock.  The patterned paper was by Graphic 45!
Evan dressed up like Josh Hamilton--his favorite Texas Rangers player.

School Days Album from 2011

This book was by Heart of Texas Studio.  The paper was by Simple Stories.  I cut the diamond shaped banner from the paper, then mounted each piece on grungeboard.  For the "School Days" title, I just inked it, then covered with Glossy Accents.  The zipper trim is by Maya Road.  The super-cool door knob is by Tim Holtz.

Tiny glass beads cover the leaf of the apple page.  I covered the owl, pencil,  and apple piece with chalkboard paper, then drew on them with a pen made for this purpose.

More Tim Holtz embellishments on the back.
